FAQ

Permit Place can manage the completion of your permit forms, but that level of work is not included with the Permit Running service. We simply take your completed application packet and deliver it to the required building department.

Our permit running service is a one-way transaction. In other words, we will drop off the packet but pick up is not included in the service. We can pick up your approved permits and deliver them, but it will need to be a separate permit running service request. 

We have a nationwide network of notaries standing by ready to transport your permit application packets. This means our team can work in any city throughout the United States. 

As soon as we receive payment, we can assign a notary to pick up your permit application packet. From there, they will take it directly to the city building department. This whole process can be completed within a couple hours depending on the time of day and project’s address in relation to the building department.

For construction management companies and architecture firms who need regular permit running support, we can establish a monthly retainer and a prioritized project request process for your team. 

No, unfortunately we do not. We are sort of at the mercy of the city building departments when it comes to hours of operation. Most departments close between 4 and 5.
