Elizabeth Vernengo is Permit Place’s newest Project Manager in the San Francisco area. Elizabeth’s zeal and work ethic are evident from her impressive portfolio with the biggest names in the construction development industry.
Diving into new adventures and being part of teams is not new for Elizabeth, who is a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate. Wherever she goes Elizabeth devotes herself 100% to a project, client, and goal. Sometime after graduation, Elizabeth earned her CDBG contract compliance certification. This certification allows her to manage contracts for federal money that supports social services in local jurisdictions.
Elizabeth’s tenacity and work ethic set her up to succeed as a Tenant Coordinator with Westfield shopping malls where she habitually coordinated over a hundred tenants every year in the Northwest region. Elizabeth wore many hats while with Westfield and began working alongside Permit Place on development projects in Los Angeles. Working with the Permit Place team the chemistry was undeniable. After partnering with Permit Place for a little under a year Elizabeth joined the Permit Place team in the San Francisco office. When asked what her favorite thing about working with Permit Place is she answers, “I love the passion that everyone has for helping our clients successfully achieve their goals. Buildouts are a huge financial and emotional investment, and everyone is engaged and empathetic to that.”
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys exploring her home city of San Francisco by sailing and hiking. A hidden skill and talent of Elizabeth’s is her professional training as a make-up artist, which her friends love to take advantage of!
