Tiered Parking Requirements for Las Vegas Hotels and Resorts

Las Vegas Hotel Parking Requirements

In Las Vegas, parking requirements for hotels vary based on the hotel’s size and the amenities offered.

According to Clark County regulations:

  • Resort Hotels: Must provide 6 parking spaces per 1,000 square feet of all publicly accessible areas, excluding convention facilities. Additionally, they are required to have 1 parking space per 1,000 square feet for convention facilities and any areas not accessible to the public.
  • Smaller Hotels: For hotels with fewer rooms, the parking requirements are as follows:
    • Hotels with 500 or fewer rooms: 1 parking space per guest room.
    • Hotels with 500 to 1,000 rooms: 1 parking space for every 2 guest rooms.
    • Hotels with more than 1,000 rooms: 1 parking space for every 4 guest rooms.
  • Hotels with a restaurant on the same premises require an additional 10 parking spots per 1,000 sq. ft. of gross floor area.
  • If you need further information on this topic, you may find it here: Clark County Code Title 30

These standards are designed to ensure adequate parking facilities for guests and visitors. The standards also consider the hotel’s capacity and the nature of its amenities.
