Job Description

As a Permit Place New Business Development Manager will be responsible to hunting new prospective customers, writing estimates, tracking sales, and achieving monthly revenue goals for the company.  Working with the Executive, Project Management and Finance Department teams, you will be responsible for monthly revenue booking and ensuring overall customer satisfaction, profitability and cash flow. 

A Permit Place BDM will:

  • Move new leads through the pipeline to estimates and then convert those estimates to Closed Won sales.
  • Maintain revenue profitability goals. 
  • Perform ongoing forecasting of sales numbers.
  • Monitor and report any customer satisfaction issues and on any team communication issues.
  • Maintain a positive attitude when communicating with prospects and customers.
  • Meeting or exceeding customer deadlines.
  • Help identify and define new service offerings. 
  • Attend trainings of a technical nature.
  • Keep up on the latest developments in the Commercial Construction world and the changing regulatory landscape.


The New Business Development Manager will be responsible for entering and managing all contact, revenue, forecasts, and customer engagement information into our CRM system.


  • Compensation Range: $80,000 to $100,000 based on experience.
  • Expense Reimbursement: Available for business travel.

This is a virtual position. Occasional travel to conferences and customer accounts 5-10%. Applicant must be based within the lower 48 states of the US (East Coast preferred).
