Permit Place has been assisting the Children's Place expansion, remodeling and re-freshes.  We've provided permit expediting services for new stores, interior tenant improvement roll-out, racking permits, exterior accent lighting, and façade upgrades.  We have had tight turnarounds and deadlines but have continued to provide service to them since 2008.

Initially contacted in 2008, The Children’s Place was anticipating a high volume of stores starting slow and then building throughout the years.  They were looking for a single source provider that could provide critical due diligence on time frames, permit fees, green building incentives and have local people on the ground that could think outside the box.  They need a company that would not just report facts but would anticipate solutions and be able to manage a high volume of projects with critical deadlines and that would exhaust all resources to get a permit ready to issue.

As with all new projects, we provide a customized Due Diligence report that help them set their schedule with the team and allowed them to know in and to generate construction schedules and budgets based on the City’s fees and process before the permitting process even starts.

Permit Expediting

The mentality “anything it takes” is an expectation for every Children’s Place project. Our relationships with jurisdictions nationwide in conjunction with our knowledge of code have assisted in exceeding many permit deadlines. Whether it is negotiating design layout, working the inspectors to interpret code or negotiating out of a jurisdiction’s 6 week review time to get a permit approved in several days; Permit Place does everything necessary to exceed the client’s expectations.
